This Skills Bootcamp is specifically designed for employer-referred and self-employed individuals. The programme’s flexibility allows your employees or self-employed participants to integrate their training into existing work schedules seamlessly. Over 12-16 weeks, they will gain the skills necessary to take on new Quality Management related roles or responsibilities, enabling your business to quickly adapt to fast-changing market conditions and supporting succession planning.

- Understanding Quality Management in relation to the requirements of ISO 9001 / 14001 and other ISO and related standards.
- Internal Auditing.
- Project Management.
- Change Management.
- Risk Assessment Planning.
- Data Analysis.
- GDPR and Data Protection.
- Quality Management & Internal Auditing (NCFE endorsed programme).
- Innovation in a Business Environment (NCFE Level 3 Unit).
- Responding to Change in a Business Environment (NCFE Level 3 Unit).
- Project Management (NCFE Level 3 Unit).
- Solving Problems in a Business Environment (NCFE Level 3 Unit).
- Building Relationships (NCFE Level 3 unit).
The Skills Bootcamp will be conducted online using Microsoft Teams, comprising a total of 60 hours spread across 12 weeks, with sessions lasting 5 hours each week. This will be supported by regular mentoring sessions and a group coaching session around Managing Personal Development.
If you train an existing employee through Skills Bootcamp, you will need to make a training cost contribution:
- 10% if you are a small to medium employer with 1 to 249 employees.
- 30% if you are a large employer with 250 or more employees.
- To participate in our Skills Bootcamp, individuals must already be employed and referred onto the programme by their employer. Additionally, to be eligible, the employer or employee must be based and/or work in the region through which they are applying. This includes the York and North Yorkshire combined Authority region, the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, or the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership region.
- You must be aged 19 or over to participate on a Skills Bootcamp. No previous knowledge of the subject is required - just a willingness and commitment to learn.
