I would recommend this course for a number of reasons.

The short course was ideal for a thorough insight into internal auditing. For someone that may take a different approach to auditing, and what is being audited, this course provides an overview which can be tailored to each individual taking the course. The format of the course prevented any long pauses or lags in the workload, as there were times that we regularly carried out our own activities to then feedback to the group. This was one of the standout parts, as it allowed us to use our own ideas and experiences to share with the group and learn together. 

I have gained a further understanding of Quality Management Systems, which I can take and adapt to suit my role within Quality. I have also gained knowledge of the steps and objectives necessary to carry out an audit which will improve the integrity of the audit. As well as the actual audit, I have learnt what tasks, responsibilities, people are required to plan and follow up with the audit.

I would recommend this course for a number of reasons: the ability to work and understand at your own pace, but then come together as a group to discuss what you have completed is rewarding. As well as this, a key takeaway for me would be that involvement is the best way to learn with this course. By discussing with the team and the instructor my thoughts ideas, it quickly became apparent which ones were necessary/important which was valuable for me.
